Working towards a goal and feeling stuck? Wanting change and fear takes over? Or just generally stressed about what life has been throwing your way? Self limiting beliefs prevent us from reaching our full potential. Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice that dives into the unconscious where the seeds of these beliefs are planted. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra you are able to release the conditioned habits holding you back and create new opportunities. This is great to revisit if you’ve done it before & perfect as you prepare for entering a new year!
In this 90 minute workshop, you will get a brief insight into the philosophy & science of the practice, create or refine a sankalpa [goal/ intention], and then will be guided through a Yoga Nidra session. The Yoga Nidra is a practice done lying comfortably, however there will be some vinyasa style movement prior. If you have physical limitations and want to participate, you are welcome to join; please show up early and let the instructor know, so she can give you options for the physical portion of the practice.
