ILLUMINATING BREATH JOURNEY

Saturday May 11th from 12:30- 4:30pm at Flow Yoga Studio, Lakewood, CO

Many limiting patterns and beliefs are lodged in the unconscious and can end up "running the show" without you even realizing it. The breath can act as a bridge between your conscious and unconscious to clear out old patterns or stories that no longer serve you, bring you back into balance, and open the door to new insights about one's Self and the world around you.

Join Bre Allison for a transformative breath experience to move beyond limitations and rediscover your inner guidance and infinite potential. In this workshop, we will start by connecting and establishing trust within the group. You will learn the basic circular breath from Integral Breath Therapy and the energizing breath we will use for the Breath Journey. You will explore grounding as a foundation for this practice and how the group will support each other before moving into the Breath Journey which is accompanied by music. The session will end with a mandala drawing and final circle to integrate the experience.

**The class is limited to 10 people and registration is required by May 7th. Investment is $100.

The energizing Breath Journey is not recommended for those with epilepsy, heart problems, severe health conditions, and pregnancy. If you have questions about the workshop or concerns regarding health contraindications, please reach out to bre@breallison.com.

As we enter a new year, it can be a great time to think about what you want in your life and reflect if you are making choices in line with it. Join me for a more traditional yoga inspired from Amrit Institute’s Postures of Consciousness. Opening with a short talk about the power of intention, we will move right into a breath & sensation centered Hatha style practice and finish with a Yoga Nidrā: a relaxing guided meditation. By moving slower and holding poses longer, we can use the body to connect more deeply with prana/energy, allowing our inner wisdom to guide us on the mat and in life.

If you don't write your future, your past will do it for you. This Yoga Nidra Workshop will focus on creating the story of your dreams and building goals & intentions to live it out. By releasing beliefs that stand in your way and identifying what is most important for you right now, you can become the author of your everyday. When you stand in nothing, you can create anything. This workshop will incorporate a new writing & intention setting exercise [bring a journal if you want], along with a brief overview of the practice & a nice, long Yoga Nidra to finish the evening. Bring a mat, wear comfortable clothes, and if you have a pillow, blanket or bolster you'd like to use feel free to bring it. No experience necessary! You will lie down in this meditation.

NOVEMBER 6TH TO 16TH, 2020

SUPPORTING THE RESILIENCE OF OUR VETERANS, FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY

Join Alan Titone & Bre Allison for a 90 minute yoga class on Tuesday, November 10th at 5:45pm MST live on zoom. Alan will teach a 60 minute vinyasa followed by a 25 minute Yoga Nidra guided by Bre. This class is to honor & remember our veterans with donations to Veterans Yoga Project. VYP supports resilience & recovery among our veterans, families & community.

The goal of this class is to gain a deeper understanding of your body that you can integrate into your yoga practice, hobbies, and everyday life. First we will "workshop" and break down certain poses to explore your unique structure, tendencies, strengths, & compensations. Next, we will implement that knowledge into a yoga practice. We will wrap up the class by answering any remaining questions, so you can take this understanding into future classes and your daily routine. September focus is strength & flexibility. HAppy hour yoga & Birthday Fundraiser

SEPTEMBER 9TH, 2020 st 5:30PM MST via ZOOM

Raising money to support solar projects in Nepal through the Himalayan Light Foundation. Donations for the happy hour yoga will go directly towards two solar projects for a school & health center. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra you are able to release the conditioned habits holding you back and create new opportunities.

Self limiting beliefs prevent us from reaching our full potential. Yoga Nidra is a meditative practice that dives into the unconscious where the seeds of these beliefs are planted. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra you are able to release the conditioned habits holding you back and create new opportunities.

In this workshop, you will get a brief insight into the philosophy & science of the practice, create or refine a sankalpa [goal/ intention], and then will be guided through a Yoga Nidra session. The Yoga Nidra is a practice done lying comfortably, however there will be some vinyasa style movement prior. If you have physical limitations and want to participate, you are welcome to join; please show up early and let the instructor know, so she can give you options for the physical portion of the practice. MINDFUL MARCH

I am hosting a series of events with hopes to spread awareness around the affect of Traumatic Brain Injury on those injured and their caregivers. All money raised during the month of March will be going to LoveYourBrain, an organization I am involved with that provides free yoga to those impacted by TBI.

Even though March is well underway, you can still participate in the Mindful March Meditation Challenge and have access to 31 days of meditation… one will be sent to your email inbox every morning.

Coming from someone who has had numerous concussions of varying severity, I cannot emphasize how powerful a yoga, mindfulness & meditation practice has been for me and my hopes are for more people to experience these benefits.
