I Am Not My Mind
I do not run to be a runner. I run to train the mind.
Because when you TRAIN THE MIND, the rest will follow.
Motivation is spontaneous, sometimes sparse while discipline is practiced, it gains more weight.
I do not climb to be a climber. I climb to test the mind.
Because when you TEST THE MIND, you build your courage.
Limitations are a product of comfort & courage is needed when confidence lacks.
I do not back pack to be a backpacker. I backpack to expand the mind.
Because when you EXPAND THE MIND, you see beyond yourself.
Your mere existence, both grand and insignificant, is an essential part of the ecosystem.
I do not yoga to be a yogi. I yoga to explore the mind.
Because when you EXPLORE THE MIND, you notice its nature.
Awareness is the first step towards freedom and preference is a trick of the ego.
I do not meditate to be a meditator. I meditate to still the mind.
Because when you STILL THE MIND, you can finally listen.
Hear the silence beneath the noise, the truth behind the distractions.
My mind is a powerful tool.
It is something to be used.
My mind does not define me.
Because I am not my mind
